Babies To Toddlers: Aqueduck Children Faucet Extender

Hand washing is one of the single most important things you and your children can do to help reduce the spread of infections and prevent ill health. But, getting kids to do it, can be a challenge and a difficult thing.

The little ones often find it hard to reach the tap in bathroom / kitchen sinks without someone straining their backs carrying them closer to the tap. Standing on a stool helps but most kids will have to lean against the sink to wash their hands, and wet their shirts in the process.

Babies To Toddlers: Aqueduck Children Faucet Extender

That’s when the Aqueduck Children Faucet Extender comes in handy.

This is a simple device that helps small children wash hands or use the faucet by themselves in case they’re too small to fully reach it. It is a small but very useful tool that you can use in your home or out and about.

Babies To Toddlers: Aqueduck Children Faucet Extender

It simply fits over any standard faucet and extends the faucet for those little hands. It’s easy to use, easy to clean, and easy to carry everywhere.

To use: Squeeze gently on both sides while pushing inward on lower flap. Attach to faucet and turn on the water.

I really find this product very helpful. My 5 year-old daughter cannot reach the faucet in our kitchen so this faucet extender makes it easier for her to wash her hands more often. I do not have to break my back to hold her up or she does not have to get on a chair (since we don’t have a stool at home) to reach the sink, which is by the way dangerous especially when no one is there to watch over her.

Here’s the Aqueduck Children Faucet Extender in action. Here’s my daughter Kerstin, together with her 2 year-old cousin, Martina.
