Cola & Iced Tea: Good For Toddlers?

Most adults drink cola and iced tea, but can these be given to toddlers as well? One of our readers wants to know if she can give small drops of iced tea or cola to her one-year-old daughter.

Small drops of cola and iced tea on occasion are not entirely bad for one-year-olds. But make sure they don’t form the habit of tasting them.

So that it will not be habit forming, serve different types of beverages during meals. Kids can get a lot of nutrients from milk shakes and real fruit shakes. For younger kids, it’s best that they take in at least one glass of milk a day aside from milky foods like cream soups and desserts.

    Buti nalang talaga hindi nakahiligan ng mga anak ko ang softdrinks at mga artificial fruit juice..May gusto nila fruitshake..Ung milk nila hinahaluan ko din chocolate drinks para gawing choco milkshake
